Beach Bum

This stool reflects a surfer wading into the ocean right before sunset in the days when surfing was considered marginal.

The expression "Beach Bum" comes from a Californian version of the title of the novel "The Dharma Bums" by Jack Kerouac, which follows the lives of anti-conventional American bohemians who are penniless world travellers, seeking spirituality through Buddhism.

Wooden seat made of mahogany, oak, olive wood.
The surfer's swimsuit is in mother-of-pearl.
The feet are made of solid oak.
